Wear and osteolysis have been successfully treated by modular polyethylene exchange in revision hip surgery. Similar reports regarding revision total knee arthroplasty have discouraged modular exchange. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the results of polyethylene exchange for wear and osteolysis in a single total knee design.
