Controversy continues over the relative risks and benefits of mobile-bearing (MB) total knee arthroplasty (TKA). The purpose of the current study was to compare outcomes and complications in patients treated with the same total knee prosthesis with the only variable being a fixed or a mobile tibial bearing.
