There is a trend towards side, sex and patient specific TKR design. It is not clear whether a more anatomic femoral component design reduces patellofemoral pain or improves knee function. The purpose of this study is to compare functional outcomes using the universal femoral implant versus the handed femoral implant in AGC total knee arthroplasty.
