Extended Travel After Hip Arthroplasty: Is It Safe?

Increasing numbers of patients are traveling to centers of excellence for surgical procedures. Hip arthroplasty and extended travel are each recognized as risk factors for venous thromboembolism (VTE). The purpose of this study is to assess the safety of extended travel after hip arthroplasty.
