Introduction: The number of revision knee arthroplasties has increased dramatically over the last 10 years and is still expected to rise. The RKC classification is designed to help with the triage of an impending revision burden, maintaining appropriate cases in regional units with evidence of sufficient volume, whilst transferring more complex cases to the revision hub.
