Why Revision Total Knee Arthroplasty Fails?

There has historically been annual rise in the number of revision TKAs being performed in North America. Although revision TKA appears to confer immense benefits to patients in terms of functional improvement and relief of pain, some of these revision arthroplasties fail and may require re-revision. The objective of this study was to evaluate the survivorship of revision TKA and determine the reasons for failure.
