Knee
Flexion contractures after total knee arthroplasty are not uncommon. Most minor flexion contractures stretch out with time or are of little clinical significance. Occasionally, significant (>15°) flexion contractures are a source of persistent anterior knee pain and altered gait mechanics. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the efficacy of surgical treatment of painful postoperative flexion contractures.
