Computer-Assisted Orthopedic Surgery (CAOS) has received significant attention in the orthopedic literature. An exhaustive search of the literature demonstrated no published articles on the cost utility of CAOS. The cost of a navigation system in the United States today varies from $55000 to more than $400000. Our objective was to assess the cost utility of CAOS.
