Knee

Current literature estimates that approximately 10–20% of patients have a problem with their knee replacement (KR). Many of these have no ‘surgical problem’ but still have pain (see article 3). Knowledge in this field is advancing rapidly and as new diagnostic modalities become available, we may be able to define problems that are not currently recognised. At the same time pathways and algorithms of care need regular updating.
