The Medicare Patient Safety Monitoring System is a nationwide surveillance project aimed at identifying the rates of specific adverse events in Medicare beneficiaries. In this study we sought to 1) identify certain risk factors associated with adverse events after TKA and 2) determine if rates of adverse events diminished over time.
